Svet, ki smo ga poznali, se je spremenil in bo ostal drugačen še leta.
Nova vojna, ki sta jo začeli Združene države in Izrael, je že močno prizadela infrastrukturo Irana, držav Perzijskega zaliva, samega Izraela in Omana.

Ta bombardiranja niso bila le vojaška dejanja, temveč so močno udarila po svetovnemu gospodarstvu.
Zaloge nafte, zemeljskega plina, gnojil, polprevodnikov, kemikalij, kovin in celo helija (potrebnega za izdelovanje polprevodnikov in procesorjev) so se drastično zmanjšale.
Okrevanje bo počasno in boleče, celo če se vojna konča že jutri.
Še posebej za Evropo, ki se je kratkovidno zavezala, da se bo popolnoma odrekla ruskim energentom.

Tankerji, naloženi z ameriškim dizelskim gorivom, namenjeni v Evropo, namreč že spreminjajo smer sredi Atlantika.

Aliai, Minerva Vaso in Grand Ace6, ki so bili prvotno namenjeni v pristanišča, kot sta Amsterdam in Gibraltar, so zdaj skrenili s svojih načrtovanih poti.
Grand Ace6 se preusmerja v Lomé v Togu; Minerva Vaso je na seznamu »za naročila« in brezciljno pluje, medtem ko trgovci lovijo boljše cene; Aliai pa je zavil proti jugovzhodu in povsem opustil svojo evropsko destinacijo.

Popoln kaos v oskrbovalnih linijah pomeni, da bo nafte in predvsem dizla za Evropo – še manj.
Če pa bo, bo morala Evropska unija tekmovati z azijskimi cenami.

Bencin in dizel v Nemčiji staneta že blizu 3 evrov na liter, medtem ko na Nizozemskem znašata približno 2,5 evra na liter.
V Nemčiji navadni dizel stane 2,74 evra, bencin pa 2,59 evra.
Na Nizozemskem stane 95-oktanski bencin 2,28 evra, 98-oktanski 2,52 evra, dizel pa 2,38 evra.

Popolna prepoved uvoza ruskih naftnih derivatov (dizel, bencin, nafta) po morju velja od 5. februarja 2023.
In šele te dni državljani EU to prepoved resneje občutijo v svojih denarnicah.
Prepoved je povzročila preusmeritev tokov dizelskega goriva, pri čemer se EU oskrbuje iz drugih virov, na primer iz ZDA, Bližnjega vzhoda in Indije.
Nato je tudi Rusija uvedla prepoved izvoza goriv in tako je EU ostala brez pomembnega vira oskrbe.
Bližnji vzhod pa je v ognju.
