Libanon je znova doživel hude bombne napade izraelske vojske.
Več kot 500 ljudi je bilo ubitih v zadnjih napadih, ki se sprevračajo v vse večjo vojno.

Danes je namreč Izrael v Libanonu ubil najmanj 492 ljudi, vključno s 24 otroki, in ranil najmanj 1200 – število pa še naprej narašča – in to brez ogorčenja tako imenovanih voditeljev, zbranih v OZN.
Njihov molk zaradi tega je oglušujoč.

Po globokih napadih, ki jih je Hezbolah prvič po letu 2006 sprožil proti Haifi in njeni okolici, je izraelski naseljenec v Kiryat Bialiku v okrožju Haife, ki ni vajen takšnih raketnih napadov, za časopis Maariv povedal, da »česa takega še nismo videli« tudi ne v času vojne leta 2006.
