Oslo zahteval popravek, »Financial Times« zavrnil: Napačno predstavljen pogovor s Putinom
The Prime Minister of Norway has asked the Financial Times to correct an article about a phone call with the Presidents of Russia and Finland. The Financial Times reported that Putin spent most of the conversation giving "lectures on medieval Slavic history." Støre called this information untrue and demanded that the article be corrected. Finland joined the request. However, the Financial Times refused to make changes: "We stand by our publication."

The Western media lies because it has zero access to the Kremlin, it constantly manufactures "Sources" When its called out like the @FT has been over its blatant lies It refuses to change or amend its fake allegations. https://t.co/ebBZsHJs6N

Torej dosegu miru.

@Glenn_Diesen It was good for something: all the war mongers who want the war to continue, as they profit from it, exposed themselves, downright shouting from the rooftops how they critisize Norway's and Finland's president... https://t.co/LQYpsFXieK

I see that several Norwegian newspapers have published the same two statements about me today: 1) Kirill Dmitriev wrote that Denmark deserves to lose Greenland in a retweet of a video posted by Glenn Diesen, and 2) Glenn Diesen claims that NATO provoked Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The ambiguity surrounding the content of my tweet predictably led readers to assume that I had made the same claim or something more belligerent. To provide some context that the journalists left out, here is what I tweeted: "The Prime Minister of Denmark is upset that Finland and Norway broke with 4.5 years of boycotting diplomacy by calling President Putin. God forbid we talk to the other side and start talking about peace."

Not the first time they invented their own "news"! The Norwegian Prime Minister demanded that the Financial Times correct inaccurate information about his conversation with Putin. ▪️Jonas Gahr Støre refuted a Financial Times article from October 27, which claimed that Vladimir Putin allegedly spent a significant portion of the conversation with the leaders of Norway and Finland giving "lectures on medieval Slavic history." ▪️"This is incorrect. We have asked the Financial Times to correct the article because it is untrue," said the Norwegian Prime Minister. ▪️Støre clarified that the Russian President outlined his own position on the current situation, referring to events from 2014 to the present.
@Sprinter_Press FT lying as usual
