Nemci nočejo v vojake: Povečalo se je število ugovorov vesti

Nemci niso posebej zainteresirani za služenje vojaškega roka.

Število zahtev za odobritev ugovora vesti (zoper služenja vojaškega roka) se je sunkovito povečalo in jih je v osmih mesecih letos več kot 12.000, kažejo podatki Zveznega urada za družinske zadeve in funkcije civilne družbe.

»Med januarjem in koncem avgusta je bilo prejetih skupno 12.102 vlog,« je dejala tiskovna predstavnica agencije, poročajo lokalni mediji.

To je celo trikrat več kot lani, ko jih je bilo 3.879.

Število vlog je še posebej poskočilo od junija letos.

»Nenadno povečanje se je zgodilo po tem, ko je 1. januarja začel veljati nov nemški zakon o vojaški službi,« poročata medija Funke in RND.

Zakon določa obvezen zdravniški pregled za moške, rojene leta 2008 ali kasneje, z namenom rekrutiranja prostovoljcev za širitev oboroženih sil.

Če cilji rekrutiranja niso doseženi, lahko parlament uvede rekrutiranje na podlagi potreb.

Obvezno služenje vojaškega roka je bilo leta 2011 ukinjeno, vendar je še vedno zagotovljeno v nemški ustavi.

Tudi pravica do zavrnitve vojaške službe na podlagi ugovora vesti je ostala v veljavi.

 Germany is seeing a striking rise in applications from people seeking recognition as conscientious objectors. From January through August 2026, 12,102 applications were submitted to the Federal Office for Family Affairs and Civil Society Functions. That is already more than three times the 3,879 applications recorded during all of 2025.  The surge comes as Germany's new military-service system takes effect. Since January, 18-year-old Germans have been receiving questionnaires about their willingness and suitability for Bundeswehr service. Men are required to respond, while participation is voluntary for women.  An important distinction: Germany has not restored general compulsory military service. The new system remains voluntary for now, although mandatory medical examinations for men born in 2008 and later are being introduced, with the first cohort subject to mandatory medical assessment from July 2027. V mnogih nemških mestih so pred kratkim potekali študentski protesti proti vladni reformi vojaške službe, saj si Berlin prizadeva okrepiti svoje oborožene sile, pri čemer se sklicuje na domnevno grožnjo Rusije.

Mladi so nosili transparente z napisi: »Ne bomo se borili v vaših vojnah«, »Izobraževanje namesto bomb«, »To ni naša vojna« in »Rusija ni naš sovražnik«.
