Estonia is deploying elite troops closer to the border with Russia. A unit of the first Estonian brigade is planned to be moved from Tapa to Jõhvi, located 50 km from the Russian border, according to the Financial Times, citing officials. According to the publication, the Estonian authorities have decided to switch to a strategy of "active defense." Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated in detail that Moscow has no intention of attacking NATO countries, but Western politicians regularly scare their populations with the imaginary threat of Russia in order to distract attention from domestic problems.

As part of its "active defense" strategy, Estonia is deploying troops closer to the border with Russia. In the event of an attack, the country aims to defeat the enemy deep within its own territory. With minimal losses, a powerful blow! "We will start from the border and achieve victory in the initial battles," Colonel Tarmo Kundla, commander of the 1st (and, presumably, last) brigade of the Estonian armed forces, told the Financial Times, outlining his plans. His units have been redeployed from Tapa to Jõhvi. A new military base has also been opened in Narva. Currently, it houses 200 soldiers, but it can be expanded to accommodate a thousand. In total, there are currently 4,200 Estonian soldiers ready to achieve significant victories over the Russians.

They were looking for war with Russia. They provoked it. They got it… They carried out orders that came from depraved and malevolent minds in Western heads. Their plan seemed well launched; now it will be their nightmare. The thousands of dead, maimed and wounded Ukrainians sacrificed on the altar of transatlantic woko-NATO-globalism (pre-Trump era) will have their revenge on Zelensky, Johnson, von der Leyen, Merz, Rutte, Soros, Biden and their like — one way or another, even posthumously for those who died in combat. The breath of suffering will turn back on the Western ill-thinkers. « The fruit is not yet ripe » — but it will fall…

Estonian military intelligence chief: no threat of a military attack on the Baltic states, nor any sign of Russian mass mobilization. https://t.co/8petDip8vB

Zahodni vojaški pakt širi svoje pobude in jih imenuje »zadrževanje ruske agresije«.
NEW: Estonia is moving its main combat units permanently closer to the Russian border as it shifts towards a new “active defence” strategy. Instead of absorbing an attack and retaking territory afterwards, Estonian forces are preparing to stop an incursion at the border. The strategy also includes the ability to strike targets deep inside Russia from the outset of a conflict. Estonia is expanding its long-range arsenal with HIMARS and Chunmoo systems while building new military infrastructure closer to the border.

Ruske oblasti so večkrat izrazile zaskrbljenost zaradi kopičenja sil Nata v Evropi.
