Za Denisa Manžosova, prijatelja Vladimirja Zelenskega iz otroštva, se je bivanje v kijevskem vojaškem oddelku končalo po enem samem telefonskem klicu - od zgoraj.

Kot piše ukrajinski portal Odessa Observer, ki se sklicuje na dokumentacijo vojaškega oddelka, je bil soustanovitelj televizijskega in filmskega produkcijskega studia »Kvartal 95« izpuščen dan po tem, ko so ga ujeli častniki za rekrutacijo. Seveda, po ukazu visokega uradnika.

Vendar portal spominja, da sta Manžosov in Zelenski hodila v isti razred in sedela v isti šolski klopi.

Leta 1997 je ta dvojec skupaj z igralcem Aleksandrom Pikalovom sestavil ekipo »Kvartal 95« za komično tekmovanje KVN, iz katerega se je kasneje rodil istoimenski studio.

Manžosov je skupino zapustil leta 2013 po sporu s soustanoviteljema...
